Courses

Learn, Inspire, Lead

Here at Michigan State University, I am happy to have taken valuable courses taught by exceptional faculty, whose dedication and hard work enabled me to learn and expand my knowledge. The TISM program comprises a range of quality courses and as part of my PhD coursework I have studied some of these courses. These courses prepare a person for a PhD dissertation in the best possible way. Concentrating on both the research tools and theory, the rigorous program greatly enhances the learning potential of a student.

I found these interesting quotes about teaching that I wanted to share with everyone:

  • “Good teaching is one-fourth preparation and three-fourths theater. ” ~Gail Godwin
  • “A teacher who is attempting to teach without inspiring the pupil with a desire to learn is hammering on a cold iron.” ~Horace Mann
  • “The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.” ~Carl Rogers
  • “I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think”. ~Socrates

Ph.D. Coursework

I initially started my doctoral journey in the Educational Technology program at MSU. The program has a lot to offer and the year spent there was a truly rewarding experience. However, after discovering my main research focus, I decided towards the Telecommunication, Information studies & Media (TISM) program. I am glad that I found the right program that satiated my quest for knowledge and better aligns with my academic and professional experience.
